yeah THAT'S RIGHT bitches.
today was my first day of work aaaand... i still love my kids. i want to adopt all of them, especially Justin and Jocelyn. Justin cuz he's freaking adorable in every single way, and Jocelyn cuz she has it so rough... that poor kid. She's there on voucher and her family sitch is so messed up. They dad's in jail, they're wicked poor, etc etc. The other day she fell on the slide and knocked out a tooth plus loosened three others. They took her to the dentist and like, her nerve was sticking out so they had to numb it or something i'm not sure, plus the other three have to be pulled. The kicker is that even if she hadn't fallen, the teeth would still have to be pulled- they were rotting in her gums. Like, I know it sounds disgusting, but this girl is the most beautiful, gentile, loving little girl i've ever known. She's so sweet and innocent and only 4 years old. Her mom brings her in every day with a doughnut and chocolate milk from Dunkin Donuts, and I'm like lady. come on. Buy a bunch of granola bars in bulk, and send her with those and some fruit juice. You'll save money and with the extra maybe you can buy your daughter a toothbrush. I'm just glad kids like her have the vouchers... at least they have the opportunity to come to a place where the get the love and affection, plus basic skills (reading, writing, communicating, socializing, etc), and plus... it's safe. So yeah besides the teeth, then she falls off a play wagon at home and scrapes her chin up really good, and then she walks into a coat rack at school and cuts her forehead open. Kid looks like they sent her through the spin cycle in the dryer. She's such a sweetie though. I tell her whenever I get the chance that she's special and she's going to change the world someday and she always smiles and goes "yeah." i.love.her. <333.
Alison's party was tonight... it was sweeet. i saw lots of people i haven't seen in forever and it was a general good time, complete with britney-style denkins action and swimming in heated H20, plus obviously the usual NDA gossip. i had fuuuuuun. :-DDD
oh and kate dyed my hair... it was supposed to come out red but really it's more like a tint... kind of like hilights... well we're going to do it again. we'll see. minnie recommended me a dye tonight, so i'll prob give that a shot.
first EMT class tomorrow... good lord. time to sleep.
